06/17.11.2021 The following surviving defects remained to be removed despite time granted on 22nd September 2021:-
(i) Defect no.9(viii) certified T/C of impugned judgment may be filed.
(ii) Custody statement is missing at page-1.
However, learned counsel Mr. Samavesh Bhanj Deo nominated by the High Court Legal Services Committee to represent the appellant, submits that on the insistence of the appellant to engage a private counsel he has given no objection and returned the file to the Committee. No other counsel has entered appearance through Vakalatnama as yet.
Mr. Satish Prasad, learned A.P.P. appears for the State. Be that as it may, the matter should appear after two weeks so that the appellant may make alternative arrangement. Let this order be communicated to the appellant through the jail authorities forthwith so that he may make alternative arrangements to represent himself in this appeal within time.
