Learned counsel for the appellant in support of his submission has placed reliance upon the judgment passed by the Apex Court in the case of Sapna vs. United India Insurance Company Limited & Anr., reported in 2006(7) SCC

Learned counsel for the claimants/respondents in support of his submission has placed reliance upon the recent judgment passed by the Apex Court in the case of Kajal vs. Jagdish Chand & Ors., reported in 2020 (4) SCC 413 where a victim girl, aged about 12 years, attending school, sustained permanent injury of 100%, has been awarded compensation to the tune of Rs.62,27,000/- along with interest @7.5% per annum from the date of filing of the claim application till its realization.

Considering the same, put up this case on 9 th March, 2021 so that parties can assist the Court.
