04/26.07.2021 The sole appellant stands convicted for the offence punishable under Section 376 (D) of the I.P.C. and Section 6 of the POCSO Act by the impugned judgment of conviction dated 26.02.2021 passed in Special POCSO Case No. 03(B) of 2016 ( Supplementary Record) by the court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-I cum Special Judge, POCSO, Latehar and has been sentenced to undergo R.I. for life along with a fine of Rs.25,000/- and a default sentence for the offence punishable under Section 6 of the POCSO Act by the order of sentence dated 26.02.2021.

Call for the Lower Court Record in connection with Special POCSO Case No. 03(B) of 2016 (Supplementary Record) from the court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-I cum Special Judge, POCSO, Latehar.

Learned A.P.P. shall obtain instructions as to the stage of investigation as respects the other two accused namely Md. Saddam and Md. Iqbal and if they have been charge-sheeted, what is the stage of the trial. Let an affidavit to that effect be also filed within 4 weeks.
