05/22.12.2021:           This criminal revision has been filed against the judgment dated

05.03.2020 passed by learned Sessions Judge, East Singhbhum at Jamshedpur in Cr. Appeal No.191 of 2019 whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been convicted and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for four months with fine for the offence under Section 138 of the N.I. Act, affirming the judgment dated 28.03.2019 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur in C/1 Case No.1644 of 2010.

It has been submitted by both the parties that the matter has been settled outside the court and money has been transacted and some money is still to be paid but it has been promised that the same will be given within a week. The offence is compoundable under Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

In view of the settlement of dispute, the matter is hereby compounded and the impugned judgments dated 05.03.2020 and 28.03.2019 are hereby, set aside.

Accordingly, this criminal revision is allowed and disposed of. Pending I.A., if any, stands disposed of.
