05/27.08.2021. This contempt petition has been heard through Video Conferencing in

view of the guidelines of the High Court taking into account the situation

arising due to COVID-19 pandemic.

In course of arguments, the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme

Court in Special Leave Petition (Civil) Diary No(s).14132/2021 dated

09.07.2021 has been produced in the Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that paragraph no.66 of

the Full Bench judgment passed in the case of Soni Kumari & others v.

State of Jharkhand & ors. , reported in 2021 1 JLJR 208 has been

taken care of by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and direction was issued to

move before the High Court for modification of the order. He further submits

that in that case, the High Court directed to mention the matter after

disposal of the Civil Appeal No.3609 of 2002, which is pending before the

Hon'ble Supreme Court. This has been clarified by the order of the Hon'ble

Supreme Court dated 09.07.2021. He also submits that so far as the present

contempt petition is concerned, the writ petition was disposed of

considering paragraph 66 of the said Full Bench judgment of this Court.

Learned counsel for the State submits that this matter may be taken

up after a week so that any senior law officer of the State may assist the

Court.

Let this matter appear on 10.09.2021.
