                                   ORDER

29.10.2025

01. This court, vide Order dated 8th September, 2025, passed in the instant contempt petition, has made it clear that mere pendency of any vigilance case shall not debar the respondents from complying the Judgment/Order of this Court passed in OWP No. 2257/2018 which was meant to be obeyed. The Court was also of the view that since there was no such subsequent order staying the release of the balance admitted liability in favour of the petitioner, therefore, the respondents were directed to ensure the release of the entire portion of the admitted liability and submit compliance report positively by the next date of hearing. It was also made clear that in case of failure on the part of respondents to do so, the court shall be left with no option but to invoke the coercive measures warranted under law for enforcement of the court orders.

02. Despite there being a clear and categoric direction passed by this Court in terms of order dated 8th September, 2025, neither the respondents have filed any compliance report nor the admitted liability has been released in favour of the petitioner.

03. At this stage, Mr. Wasim Gul, learned GA, appearing for the official respondents assured this Court that needful will be done in terms of Order dated 8th September, 2025 within a period of one week positively.

04. In view of the assurance extended by learned counsel for the respondents, one weeks' time is granted to him to do the needful, failing which, this Court shall be constrained to direct personal appearance of the respondents/contemnors on the next date of hearing.

05. List on 14th November, 2025.
