                                     ORDER

28.10.2024

01. Vide order dated 07.04.2017 passed in SWP No. 2724/2015 titled "Mohd. Tariq vs. State of J&K & Ors.", competent authority was directed to consider case of the petitioner for appointment to the post in question i.e. ReT Teacher in MS Mehal, Village Buffiaz, in the light of judgment dated 03.09.2015 passed in LPA (SW) No. 12/2015 by a speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the said order.

02. The competent authority in compliance to the aforesaid direction has considered case of the petitioner and rejected his claim on the ground that case of the petitioner, namely, Mohd. Tariq, after examination is found to be devoid of merit as he had low merit and his case was not similar to the case of Fozia Qureshi arising out of LPA (SW) No. 12/2015 as also that same was in contravention of the Government Order No. 919-EDU of 2018 dated 16.11.2018.

03. In view of the above, the impugned judgment stands complied. Hence, the present petition is dismissed. However, petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the consideration order, if he so desires.
