In the instant Contempt Petition, the petitioner has complained non-compliance of order dated 27.10.2017 passed in SWP 1195/2014 in terms whereof while disposing of the same, the respondent Director School Education came to be directed to pass a speaking order on the claim of the petitioner for medical reimbursement within a period of four weeks.

Compliance report has been filed by the respondent on 27th September 2022, wherein it is being inter alia stated that in compliance to the judgment passed by this Court, an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- initially was sanctioned by the competent authority after receiving financial concurrence vide Govt. Order No. 150-Edu of 2015 dated 06.04.2015 read with Govt. order no. 151-Edu of 2015 dated 06.04.2015, payable to the petitioner and upon further examination of the case of the petitioner in compliance to the orders passed by this court, the petitioner was found to be entitled to an amount of Rs. 3,03,169/- which consequently came to be released and disbursed in his favour by crediting the same into his bank account.

Having regarded the aforesaid position obtaining in the matter, seemingly the respondents have complied with the judgment. Under these circumstances, the contempt notice issued is recalled and contempt proceedings dropped. Should the petitioner be dissatisfied with the amount of medical claim paid to him, the petitioner shall be at liberty to invoke appropriate remedy in this regard before the appropriate forum provided the same is permissible in law.
