26.04.2024 Upon coming of this matter for consideration, counsel for respondents invited the attention of this Court to judgement passed by the Division Bench in WP(C) no. 1591/2020 titled "Mushtaq Ahmad Paul and Ors. Vs. UT of Jammu and Kashmir and Ors" stating that the judgment squarely covers the case of the petitioners herein.

In view of the statement made by counsel for respondents counsel for the petitioners seeks short adjournment to find out as to whether the judgement supra actually is applicable to the case of the petitioner. Adjourned at request.

List for consideration on 08.05.2024. Counsel for respondents states that OWP No. 370/2012 has been wrongly clubbed with the instant petition as the controversy therein the said petition is distinct and different. Statement of the counsel is taken on record and Registry is directed to delink the OWP No. 370/2012 and list the same separately on 31.05.2024.
