1. Statement of facts on behalf of the office of the Deputy

Commissioner, Udhampur has been filed, perusal whereof indicates that a joint

demarcation of the land has taken place and the requisite information provided

to the Defence Estates Officer, Udhampur.

2. With a view to sort out the issue and to take requisite steps for

implementation of the judgment passed by this Court, let the Deputy

Commissioner, Udhampur and the Defence Estates Officer, Udhampur sit

together and prepare the requisite papers for proceeding further in the matter.

We make it clear that the Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur as per his/her

convenience shall fix a date/dates for holding the meetings in this regard so that

this old matter is finalized. Both the authorities aforesaid shall submit fresh

status reports on the next date of hearing.

3. It will be appreciated, if the Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur and

the Defence Estates Officer, Udhampur submit a comprehensive composite

report, indicating all the steps taken and the steps required to be taken for

completion of the acquisition proceedings.

4. List alongwith CCP(D) No. 01/2022 on 15.11.2023.
