                                 ORDER

01. Proceedings in this contempt petition have been initiated by the

petitioner for non-compliance of judgment and order dated 15.03.2018

passed in SWP No. 1730/2006 titled 'Rattan Bahdur V/s Union of India &

Ors.' which was disposed of with the following directions:-

"In view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner and to take a decision in this regard in accordance with law expeditiously. The decision so taken be communicated to the petitioner, so that he can work out his remedy, if cause survives."

02. The respondents in their compliance report submitted that in

compliance to the order of this Court they have held that Rs. 1149/- and

Rs. 2196.47/- is due to the petitioner also they have approached the

petitioner to intimate the mode of remittance directly to GREF Records,

Dighi Camp, Pune-15 to enable them remit the unpaid amount.

03. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner till date. In

view of the aforesaid, order of this Court stands complied with.

Proceedings in this contempt petition are, accordingly, closed.

04. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to revive the same, if cause

survives.
