ORDER
01. Perusal of the file reveals that the petitioner is seeking quashment of an
FIR No. 03/2015 dated 02.01.2015 registered at Police Station Reasi for the
commission of offences punishable under Sections 500 500 RPC read with
Sections 66-A, 67and 67-A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act).
02. In case titled 'Shreya Singhal vs U.O.I' AIR 2015 SC 1523, Section 66-A
of the IT Act has been declared ultra vires.
03. The present case is disposed of with a direction to the concerned
Investigating Officer to take note of the judgment rendered by the Apex Court in
case of Shreya Singhal and proceed further in accordance with law.
04. Disposed of accordingly.
