This is a petition for initiation of contempt proceedings against the

respondents for non-compliance of judgment and order dated 16.4.2001

passed by this court in SWP No. 102/2000.

Counsel for the respondents, Mr. Gupta, however, has placed on

record a copy of the judgment and order dated 3.3.2017 passed by this

court in contempt petition bearing Contempt(SWP) No. 252/2007 filed by

the petitioner for non-compliance of the judgment and order dated

16.4.2001 (supra) whereby the contempt proceedings had been closed.

In that view of the matter, nothing survives in the instant contempt

proceedings, which are accordingly closed.
