Petitioner is a Class-IV employee. Against the

denial of claim of regularization w.e.f. 23.11.1996, petitioner

has approached this Court by way of instant petition.

2. Petitioner was regularized w.e.f. 17.07.2013,

whereas the petitioner claims 23.11.1996 to be due date for

his regularization, when persons junior to him were

regularized.

3. Respondents have filed reply and have admitted

that due to inadvertent error petitioner could not be

regularized from due date i.e. 23.11.1996. As regards his

eligibility for regularization from the said date, no dispute has

been raised.

4. In view of the stand of the respondents, the

petition is allowed. The respondents are directed to

regularize the services of the petitioner as Class-IV w.e.f.

23.11.1996. Since, the petitioner has approached this Court

at a belated stage, he will be entitled for actual monetary

benefits only for three years preceding the filing of this

petition. Accordingly, the instant petition stands disposed of.

5. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also

stand disposed of.
