respondents.

2. The instant petition has been filed for grant of the following

substantive relief:

"(i) That the respondents may be ordered to grant work charge status to the petitioner from the date he completed 8 years service, with all benefits incidental thereof."

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the case of

the petitioner is covered by the decision of this Court in LPA No.165 of

2021, titled as State of HP and others vs Surajmani and another,

decided on 12.1.2023, along with connected matters. This is a matter,

which is required to be considered by the respondents.

4. Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to

the respondents to consider and decide the case of the petitioner in

terms of the decision of this Court in Surajmani's case supra,

expeditiously and preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt

of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also

stand disposed of.
