                                                              ORAL ORDER

1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for appropriate direction to the Board of Nominees to hear and decide the Lavad Suit No.327 of 2014 pending before it since 11.06.2014.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has also moved application for expeditious hearing on 24.02.2022 on which order dated 25.02.2022 came to be passed expediting the matter. He submits that, however, till date, no hearing has taken place in respect of the said Lavad Suit. He submits that appropriate direction be passed.

3. Dr. Venugopal Patel, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent No.1 submits, upon instructions, that the said Lavad Suit shall be heard expeditiously. He submits that, however, one year's time may be granted to do the needful.

4. Considering the submissions and the fact that the Lavad Suit No.327 of 2014 is pending since 11.06.2014, the Board of Nominees, Ahmedabad is directed to expedite the hearing and decide the said Lavad Suit on or before 31.08.2026.

The present Special Civil Application accordingly stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions. No order as to costs.
