ORAL ORDER

(PER : HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. JUSTICE VIKRAM NATH)

1. We have heard Ms. Shruti Pathak, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the State appellants.

2. The learned Single Judge after considering the material on record came to the conclusion that the UGC guidelines ought to have been adhered to by the State. It is also the finding of the learned Single Judge that the other similarly situated Librarians have been granted the relief as were admissible to them in accordance with the UGC guidelines. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, has not been able to show any perversity or

manifest error of law in the judgment of the learned Single Judge and as such, we do not find any infirmity therein warranting interference in appeal.

3. The appeal lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.

Consequently, the connected Civil Application stands disposed of.
