This is an appeal against the judgment dated 20.06.2025, passed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge -cum- Special Judge (POCSO), Morigaon, in POCSO Case Page No.# 2/2

No. 142/2021, arising out of Morigaon P.S. Case No. 180/2021, by which the appellant has been convicted under Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Admit the appeal.

Call for the TCR.

Issue notice, returnable in four weeks.

Mr. R. R. Kaushik, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam appears for the State.

The letter dated 19.08.2025, issued by the Secretary, Gauhati High Court Legal Services Committee shows that Mr. J. Das has been appointed as the Legal Aid Counsel.

Registry is to send the scanned copy of the appeal to the office of the PP, who shall thereafter transmit the same to the O/C of the concerned Police Station, for serving notice upon the respondent No. 2.
