19-02-2025 (S. K. Medhi, J) Heard Shri L. R. Mazumdar, learned counsel for the appellant, who has preferred this appeal under Section 415 of the BNSS, 2023 against the judgment and order dated 25.10.2021 passed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge (FTC), Cachar, Silchar in Sessions Case No. 152/2009 thereby convicting and Page No.# 2/2

sentencing the appellant to undergo rigorous imprisonment for lie under Section 302 of IPC and also to pay fine of Rs.5000/- only and in default of payment of fine, another SI for 3 months and also rigorous imprisonment for 3 years for committing offence under Section 201 of IPC and also fine of Rs.5000/- only and in default of payment of fine, further SI for 3 months. Admit.
