Heard Mr. R.C. Das, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the opposite party-respondent no. 1, State of Assam.

2. The instant application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963 is preferred seeking condonation of delay of 49 days, which period of delay had occurred in filing of the accompanying criminal revision petition, Criminal Revision Petition no. 11656/2025 [Filing Number] against a Judgment and Order dated 14.07.2025 passed by the Court of Additional

Sessions Judge [FTC], Darrang, Mangaldai in Criminal Appeal no. 17/2024.

3. Issue notice, returnable on 13.02.2026.

4. As Mr. Goswami has appeared and accepted notices on behalf of the opposite party- respondent no. 1, issuance of formal notice in respect of the said respondent stands dispensed with. The applicant shall serve an extra copy of the application along with annexures, to Mr. Goswami within 3 [three] working days from today.

5. The applicant shall take steps for service of notice upon the opposite party-respondent no. 1 by Speed Post within 3 [three] working days from today.
