Heard the learned for the applicant Mr. R. Sharma. This application has been filed praying for stay of the operation of the impugned judgment and award dated 04.01.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT North Lakhimpur in MAC Case No.26/2022.

The connected appeal has already been admitted for hearing. The learned counsel for the appellant submits that good grounds has been taken in the appeal and there is every chance of succeeding the appeal and prays that the impugned judgment and award may be stayed during the pendency of the appeal.

This Court has considered the grounds taken in the appeal as well as the submissions made in the present application and is of the view that the prayer may be allowed at this stage. Accordingly, the operation of the impugned judgment and award dated 04.01.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT North Lakhimpur shall remain stayed till the disposal of the appeal.
