Heard Mrs. P.B. Bordoloi, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard Mr. D.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State/respondent.

This is an appeal under Section 415 of BNSS, 2023, against the impugned Page No.# 2/2

judgment and order dated 27.05.2024 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bijni, Chrang in Sessions Case No. 24(A)/2021, whereby the appellant was convicted under Section 304 Part-II IPC and sentenced him to undergo R/I for a period of 7(seven) years and a fine of Rs.20,000/-, in default stipulation.

Appeal is admitted.

Call for the trial court record. The Registry is directed to procure the same. Extra copy of the petition shall be provided to Mr. Goswami. List the matter after four weeks.
