1. Heard Ms. S. Roy, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard Mr. J. Kalita, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 1.

2. This appeal under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 has been filed by the appellant/claimant impugning the Judgment and Award dated 18.02.2022, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, No. 3, Kamrup(M) in MAC Case No. 2229/2018, dismissing the claim petition filed by the appellant.

3. This appeal is admitted.

4. Call for the case record of MAC Case No. 2229/2018 from the concerned Tribunal.

5. Issue notice to the respondents.

6. Since Mr. J. Kalita and Mr. S. Rana has appeared for respondent Nos. 1 and 2, no formal notice needs to be issued to them. However, the appellant shall take steps for issuance of notice on respondent No. 3, by registered post with A/D as well as by usual mode within 7(seven) days from the date of this order, returnable after 4(four) weeks.
