Date : 05.08.2024 Heard Mr. G. Bordoloi, learned counsel for the appellant.

None has appeared for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 though the name of Mr. R. Goswami, has been shown as the counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 and

2.

This appeal under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 has been filed by the appellant/owner of the vehicle involved in the accident, namely, Santana Dey impugning the judgment and award dated 13.06.2018 passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Goalpara in MAC Case No. 58/2016 whereby the appellant was directed to pay 50% of the awarded amount of Rs.5,59,000/- to the claimant respondents.

The appeal is admitted.

Call for the case record of MAC Case No. 58/2016 from the concerned Tribunal.

Issue notice to the respondents.
