Heard Mr. T. Kalita, learned counsel for the applicant also heard Mr. S. K. Goswami, learned counsel appearing for the claimants/respondents.

This application is filed under Order XLI, Rule 5 of the CPC praying for stay of operation of the impugned judgment and order dated 09.12.2022 passed by the learned Member, MACT, Dibrugarh in MAC Case No. 23/2021.

After hearing the learned counsel for both sides it is hereby directed that the judgment and order dated 09.12.2022 passed by the MACT, Dibrugarh in MAC Case No. 23/2021 shall remain stayed till disposal of the connected appeal subject to deposit of 30 per cent of the awarded amount in the Registry of this Court within next 4 (four) weeks.

The aforesaid amount shall be disbursed in favour of the claimants/respondents on execution of bond.

Accordingly, this Interlocutory Application stands disposed of.
