Heard Mr. N.J. Dutta, learned counsel for the appellant.

This is an appeal preferred against the judgment and order of conviction dated 06-

04-2022 passed by the Special Judge (POCSO), Kokrajhar in connection with Special Case

No. 32/2021 convicting the appellants under Section 376D/ 376DA/ 376A/ 120B/ 302 IPC

read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act read with Section 3(1)(w)(i) & 3(2)(v) of the SC-ST

Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989 inter alia awarding death sentence to the accused

persons.

We have perused the grounds taken in the memo of appeal.

Admit the appeal.

Issue notice returnable in 06 weeks.

Since Ms. S. Jahan, learned Addl. P.P. Assam has appeared and accepted notice on

behalf of the State, no formal notice is required to be sent to the said respondent.

Steps for service of notice upon the respondent No. 2 be taken by registered post Page No.# 3/3

with A/D.

On the request of Mr. N.J. Dutta, learned counsel for the appellant, this appeal is
