The matter is taken up through video conferencing. Heard Mr. D Mozumdar, learned senior counsel for the applicants. This application has been filed for condoning the delay of 18 days in filing the accompanying appeal which has been filed against the judgment and order dated 29.10.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge in WP(C) No.1/2020.

Mr. T Ao, learned Government Advocate, Nagaland, appears for respondent Nos.1 to 4 and submits that he has no objection if the delay is condoned.

In view of the above and the directions passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in WP(C) (Suo Moto)3/2020, the delay in filing the accompanying appeal is hereby condoned.

This interlocutory application is allowed.

Registry is directed to number this appeal and list it on 08.03.2022. The applicants/appellants would be permitted to file fresh copy of the writ petition.
