This is an appeal against the judgment and order, dated 05.08.2021, passed by the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Baksa, Mushalpur in Special POCSO Case No. 74/2018 convicting the appellant and sentencing him to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 7 (seven) years and to pay a fine of Rs. 10,000/- with a default clause for commission of offence punishable under Section 4 of the POCSO Act.

The State respondent No. 1 is represented by Mr. BB Gogoi, learned Additional. No formal notice be served upon him.

Appellant to take steps for service of notice upon respondent No. 2 by registered post with A/D or under any other prescribed mode within 7 (seven) days.

The appeal being a statutory appeal, the same is admitted for hearing.
