Heard Mr. F.U. Barbhuiya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The petitioner's case in brief is that in view of the judgment dated 8/6/2017 passed in the case of State of Assam vs Upen Das & 836 Ors reported in 2017 (4) GLR 490, he is entitled to minimum scale of pay.

Mr. I. Kalita, learned counsel appears on behalf of respondent Nos. 1,3,4 and 4 and Mr. P. Nayak, learned counsel appears on behalf of respondent No.2.

List the matter again on 15/3/2021.

On that day, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents shall come with instruction as to whether the petitioner's case is covered by the judgment dated 8/6/2017 passed by this Court in the case of State of Assam vs Upen Das & 836 Ors.
