Heard Mr. P. Mahanta, learned counsel for the applicants/writ appellants. Also heard Mr. D. Upamanyu, learned counsel representing the Higher Education Department, Government of Assam.

The connected writ appeal has been belatedly filed against the judgment and order dated 04.12.2020 passed in WP(C) No.5090/2020. It is presently accompanied by a delay condonation application praying for condoning the delay of 15 days in filing the connected writ appeal.

Mr. Upamanyu, learned counsel, appearing for the Higher Education Department has no objection.

Having heard the learned counsel for the applicants and considering the averments made in the application, the prayer for condoning the delay is allowed. The delay is condoned.

Registry to register and number the connected writ appeal and list the same for Admission.

The interlocutory application is allowed.
