1. Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 521/2018 of PS Swaroop Nagar for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

2. Learned APP for State accepts notice and submits that State has no objection to this petition because parties have resumed matrimony.

3. Respondent no. 2 identified by IO/SI Amolak also accepts notice.

4. Keeping in mind nature of disputes between the parties I have spoken in Hindi with the parties. It is stated by them that since August 2025 they are living together happily along with daughter of petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2. The parties have brought their daughter also to the Court.

5. Respondent no. 2 submits that since now they are living happily together, she does not wish to continue prosecution of the petitioners.

6. Having spoken with both sides I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push the parties through full dress trial.

7. Therefore, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 521/2018 of PS Swaroop Nagar for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed.
