1. The accused/applicant seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 642/2025 of PS Jagat Puri for offence under Section 316(2)/3(5) BNS.

2. Broadly speaking, the allegation against the accused/applicant is that he hired a car from the complainant de facto and thereafter, sold away the same to someone.

3. Learned counsel for accused/applicant submits that there is no evidence to show that the car was recovered from him or that he received

any money towards sale consideration of the car.

4. Learned APP for State accepts notice and in all fairness, on instructions of the IO/SI Pushpender, submits that the accused/applicant can be granted anticipatory bail provided he joins investigation.

5. Accordingly, the application is allowed and it is directed that in the event of his arrest, the accused/applicant shall be released on bail, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the IO/SHO concerned. The accused/applicant shall join investigation as and when directed by the IO in writing. Pending application also stands disposed of.
