1. Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 11/2024 of Police Station Sangam Vihar for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC on the ground that respondent no. 2 has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

2. Learned ASC accepts notice and submits that State has no objection to this petition since private parties have already settled all disputes and are living together happily.

3. Respondent no.2 also has appeared along with her counsel and accepts notice. Respondent no.2 is identified by IO/ASI Ramkesh.

4. I have spoken with the parties in Hindi. It is stated by respondent no.2 that now they are living happily together and they also have a child (carried by her in lap). Respondent no.2 submits that she does not want to pursue prosecution of petitioners as now they are happily settled.

5. Having spoken with the parties, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push them through trial.

6. Therefore, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 11/2024 of Police Station Sangam Vihar for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed.
