CRL.M.A. 35987/2019 Allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Application is disposed of.

CRL.M.C. 4684/2019 Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby quashing FIR No. 558/2014 dated 15.07.2017, registered at PS Pandav Nagar for the offences punishable under Sections 308/34 IPC and all other proceedings emanating therefrom.

Notice issued.

Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and respondent no.2 who is present in Court.

With the consent of the counsel for the parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal.

The present petition is filed on the ground that the parties have settled their disputes and the respondent no.2 has no objection if the present petition is allowed.

Respondent No. 2 is personally present in Court and submits that matter has been settled and he does not wish to prosecute the matter any further. Photocopy of Aadhar card of bearing no. 517083786075 of respondent no.2 is on record. Original Aadhar card seen and returned.

The petitioner and respondent no.2 have entered into an amicable settlement vide settlement deed dated 01.08.2019.

Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash the concerned FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners any further.

For the reasons afore-recorded, the FIR No 558/2014 dated 15.07.2014 registered at Police Station Pandav Nagar instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 308/34 IPC and consequent proceedings therefrom are quashed qua this petitioner.

The petition is allowed accordingly.
