                           JUDGMENT

BRIJESH SETHI, J (oral)

In the above captioned first petition, quashing of FIR No.603/2015, under Sections 341/354A/323/506/34 IPC and in the above captioned second petition, quashing of FIR No.606/2015, under Sections 341/354B/323/506/34, both registered at police station Nagloi, New Delhi, is sought. The complainant of FIR No. 603/2015 is the daughter in law and complainant of FIR No. 606/2015 is the mother-in-law. Quashing of these FIRs is sought on the ground that the dispute between the parties has been amicably resolved with the intervention of family, friends and respectable members.

Since the subject matter of these two petitions is essentially a family dispute, with the consent of counsel representing both the sides, these petitions have been heard together and are being disposed of by this common order.

Notice.

Mr. Amit Ahlawat, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent/State accepts notice and submits that petitioners as well as complainants of FIR in question are present in the Court and they have been duly identified by Investigating Officer of these cases.

Mr. Nagendera Lakra, Advocate, appearing for petitioners submits that one of the accused in FIR No. 606/2015, namely, Shri Ramphal, father-in-law of the complainant, has died and death certificate has been

Crl.M.C.5964/2019 placed on record. The factum of death of Shri Ramphal, is confirmed by complainant of FIR No. 606/2015, who submits that she is living in the same locality.

Complainants of these FIRs submit that the dispute inter se has been amicably resolved and now, no grievance against each other survives and, therefore, the proceedings arising out of FIR in question be brought to an end.

Heard.

Since the subject matter of these FIRs stands mutually and amicably resolved between the parties, no useful purpose would be served in continuation of the proceedings arising therefrom.

In view of the above, FIR No.603/2015, under Sections 341/354A/ 323/506/34 IPC and FIR No.606/2015, under Sections 341/354B/323/506/34, both registered at police station Nagloi, New Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.

The petitions and applications stand disposed of.
