1. This petition has been filed seeking the following prayer:
"(A) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ directing the respondents to immediately provide for the requirements as mentioned in para 12 of the present petition at the site of fire at
Mansarovar park slums.
(B) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ directing the respondents to show cause of fir safety audit (W.P.(C) 2085/2018; Order dated06.03.2018) of all the Shelter Homes in Delhi by the Chief Fire Officer or any other officer of designated by the respondent:
"The respondents shall ensure that a joint inspection of the electrical facilities and fire safety audit is taken within two weeks from today by the authorities and a proper action plan is drawn up to ensure that a standard document is prepared regarding provision of the electrical facilities and fire safety measures in the night shelters. The same shall be placed before this court along with the counter affidavits"
(C) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ directing the respondents to provide immediate rehabilitation (i.e., drinking water and food supplies, toilets, shishu vatikas or "crèche" and day-boarding) for JJ basti and homeless victims. The 300 JJ basti dwellers must also be provided with construction material to re-build their homes. The 168 homeless victims shelter no.96 (general)and shelter no.125 (women and children)must either be accommodated to the nearest shelter in Shahdara district so that their economic activities are not severely impacted. (D) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ directing the respondents to provide immediate medical attention to the aggrieved individuals and families, especially women and children. The respondent(s) must provide permanent medical facility/dispensary keeping in mind the significant numbers of JJ dwellers and homeless populations.
(E) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ directing the respondent(s) to organize voter ID and Aadhaar registration camps as the victims have lost their documentations in the fire.
(F) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ directing respondent (Railway/GOI) to offer monetary compensation in view of the fact that most personal belongings of the basti and (2)shelter residents were destroyed in the massive blaze. (G) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ show cause to notify Government of India guidelines of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihood Mission Shelter for Urban Homeless shelters into permanent Night Shelters. The Departmenet of Urban Development has merely published the details fo NULM as public information announcement on its website.
(H) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ directing the respondent DUSBI to make the immediate provision for the fire fighting equipments and training be made for the Care Takers of the Homeless shelters.
(I) Pass an directing Delhi Police to place on record its investigation report with regard fire incidents which have taken place in the slum clusters of Delhi and the causes thereof and also do a speedy investigation in the present case. (J) Pass any such directions or order which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the above mentioned case."
2. From the status report filed by the respondents in pursuance of the order passed on 24.04.2018, we find that all measures have been taken and the grievances of the petitioner have been redressed during the pendency of the writ petition.
3. In the light of the status report submitted, we dispose of the matter along with pending applications.
