                              ORDER

(ORAL)

1. Vide order of 5th July, 2017 (Annexure P-1), respondent- Directorate of Education had directed respondent-School to implement the provisions of Section 10(1) of The Delhi School Education Act and Rules, 1973 and pay all arrear dues as per 6th CPC including payment of gratuity etc., within a period of thirty days from the date of issue of the order.

2. Petitioners' claim that vide letter of 16th October, 2017 (Annexure P-23 colly.), respondent-School was requested to comply with the aforesaid direction of respondent-Directorate of Education. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that this was followed by a Reminder of 12th January, 2018 (Annexure P-24 colly.), but to no avail.

3. Despite service of advance notice, none appears on behalf of respondent-School.

4. In the facts and circumstance of this case, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent-School to respond to petitioners' letter (Annexure P-23 colly.) within a period of six weeks and to intimate petitioners about its fate within two weeks thereafter. If it is not so done, then respondent-Directorate of Education shall promptly take steps to de- recognize respondent-School on account of non-compliance of directions issued vide order (Annexure P-1).

5. Compliance of this order be positively made within the stipulated time to enable petitioners to have recourse to law, if need be.

6. With aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of.

Copy of this order be given dasti to learned counsel for petitioners.
