SANJEEV SACHDEVA, J. (ORAL)

1. The petitioner, by this petition, seeks modification of the interim bail order, granted by the Trial Court by order dated 17.12.2018.

2. The petitioner, by the interim order dated 17.12.2018, was granted interim bail by the Trial Court for joining the marriage ceremonies of his sister. However, the Trial Court had granted interim bail only for a period of 3 days.

3. The petitioner, in this petition, has mentioned that the functions

for the marriage starts from 01.01.2019 and go on till 06.01.2019 in Delhi and thereafter there is a reception on 09.01.2019 at Calcutta.

4. Learned APP for the State has submitted a verification report. The same is taken on record. It is confirmed that the functions for the marriage commence from 01.01.2019 and end on 06.01.2019 in Delhi and thereafter there is a function in Calcutta by the boy's side. Learned APP opposes permission to the petitioner to travel out of Delhi.

5. Keeping in view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the conditions imposed by order dated 17.12.2018 of the Trial Court are modified to the limited extent that on petitioner complying with the conditions imposed by the Trial Court inter alia of furnishing a personal bond and the surety bond, petitioner shall be released on interim bail on 26.12.2018 and the petitioner shall surrender on 07.01.2019 before the concerned Superintendent, Jail.

6. The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
