1. This writ petition seeks issuance of an order directing the respondents to enumerate and classify the tribes and communities of De-Notified Tribes and Nomadic and Semi Nomadic Tribes separately and distinctly; collect their Socio-Educational and Economic Indicators as well as Human Development Indices with Deprivation Indices in the Census of 2022.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over copy of an order being S.O. 3210(E) dated 2nd October, 2017 issued by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India whereby the President of India has been pleased to appoint a Commission under Article 340 of the Constitution to examine the sub-categorisation of Other Backward Classes. This Commission has been required to present its report to the President of India within a period of 12 weeks of assumption of charge by the Chairperson of the Commission.

3. In view thereof, this writ petition does not need to detain this court any further inasmuch as the respondents would take action on the outcome of the consideration by the Commission which stands appointed.
