The petitioner No.1, Shri Shiv Shankar, and the petitioner No.2,

Smt.Jai Devi, are present. The counsel for the petitioner No.1 states

that the parties have resolved their disputes amicably and they are

living together. It is also stated that no useful purpose shall be served

in continuing the proceedings pursuant to FIR No.129/2004 under

Sections 450/380 of Indian Penal Code registered at Police Station

Gulabi Bagh. It is also stated that in order to have matrimonial peace,

it will be just and appropriate that the proceedings emanating from the

above-said FIR and the FIR are quashed.

Let the statement of petitioner No.2, Smt.Jai Devi, be recorded

who is identified by the counsel for the petitioner No.1.

Statement of petitioner No.2 has been recorded. The petitioner

No.2 has stated that she has started living with her husband, petitioner

No.1, and there are no more disputes. It is apparent that no useful

purpose shall be served in continuing the proceedings pursuant to FIR

No.129/2004 under Sections 450/380 of Indian Penal Code registered

at Police Station Gulabi Bagh. It will also be conducive for the future

peaceful matrimonial life. It will be in the interest of justice and just

and appropriate to quash the above-said FIR and the proceedings

emanating therefrom. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Mr.Vats,

also has no objection to quashing of the FIR against the petitioner No.1.

In the totality of facts and circumstances, the FIR No.129/2004

under Sections 450/380 of Indian Penal Code registered at Police

Station Gulabi Bagh and all proceedings emanating therefrom against

the petitioner No.1 are quashed.

The petition is disposed of.
