JUDGMENT

Madan B. Lokur, J.

1. The Respondents in this case are working as Mechanics and Electrician posted at the Talkatora Swimming Pool. Their duties are not exclusive and there is nothing to suggest that their duties are not inter-changeable or transferable with other equivalent posts, including Pump Driver, Pump Operator and Duplicating Machine Operator.

2. Under the circumstances, it is held that all Mechanics and Electricians of the Talkatora Swimming Pool are entitled to the benefit of SSC pay scales with effect from 1st April,1998.

3. The Respondents will be entitled to costs of Rs.1,000/- each.
