JUDGMENT

Manmohan Sarin, J.

1. This Civil Contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of show cause notice to the respondent contemnors to show cause as to why proceedings for contempt be not initiated against them for non-compliance with order dated 19th June, 2000. Vide orders dated 19th June, 2000, following directions were given to the respondents :-

"The respondents are directed to furnish the detailed information of each calender month w.e.f. 1st January, 1987 till date indicating initial reading, consumption reading amount due, amount paid, amount adjusted allowed free to an MP and the amount due, if any, before the next date."

2. The respondents in compliance with the same have filed a reply to the CM 4776/2000 in CW 1745/2000, where desired particulars were given. An additional affidavit dated 22nd September, 2000 has been filed and Along with the said affidavit annexures giving the details of readings etc have been filed. Additional information and particulars have also been furnished to the petitioner and his representatives also. The Court vide a separate judgment has dismissed the writ petition and also held that there was a substantial compliance by the respondents in supply of information and particulars as directed. In view of the foregoing, the notice dated 25th September, 2000 issued in the Civil Contempt Petition is discharged and the petition is dismissed.
