1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging willful

disobedience and non-compliance of the order dated 11.07.2019

passed in WP (PIL) No. 48/2019. For ready reference the operative

part of the order is being reproduced hereinunder:

"5. In the above circumstances, we dispose off the writ petition directing the 1st Respondent / competent authority to look into Annexure P/1 and the supplementary representation if at all any, filed within 15 days from today and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, with regard to the relief sought for, ofcourse, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner or his representative. This shall be done as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this verdict."

2. Pursuant to the notice being issued to the respondents, they have

entered appearance and filed their response and in support of their

return they have also enclosed Annexure R/2 dated 19.02.2020.

Perusal of the documents it appears that the respondents have

principally accepted his claim and in the process they have taken

certain remedial steps. Thereafter the petitioner- Prem Shankar

Panda has since expired.

3. Given the document Annexure R/2 dated 19.02.2020 passed by the

Government of Chhattisgarh, School Education Department, prima

complied with the order as directed by this Court on 11.07.2019. In

any case no contempt as on date seems to have been made out. If at

all if the grievance of the petitioner or the purpose for which the WP

(PIL) was filed is still not redressed, the petitioner if at all he wants

can have the remedy of approaching the Writ Court again ventilating

his grievances.

4. The contempt petition accordingly stands disposed of.
