1. The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ

petition is for appropriate direction to the respondent for considering

his claim for regularization.

2. According to the petitioner, he was initially engaged by the

respondents way back in the year 1993 and since then the petitioner

has been continuously working with the respondents uninterruptedly.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that he is entitled to be considered

for regularization in terms of the circular of the State Government

dealing with the regularization dated 05.03.2008 and also in the light

of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of Secretary,

State of Karnataka and others Vs. Uma Devi (3) and others, 2006

(4) SCC 1.

3. Having head the contentions put forth by the counsel for the

petitioner, the present writ petition at this juncture stands disposed

of. It is directed that subject to verification of entitlement of the

petitioner in accordance with the circulars governing the field of

regularization the claim of the petitioner to be scrutinized and

processed for regularization at the earliest preferably within a period

of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
