Heard

1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though in the earlier round

of litigation representation was made for equal pay for equal work but the

representation has been decided stating that he is not entitled for

regularization, therefore he prays that the order may be set aside and he

may be allowed to make representation in light of judgment of the

Supreme Court in the case of State of Punjab and Another Vs. Jagjit

Singh and others reported in 2017 (1) SCC 148 and the case covered

in the recent judgment rendered in WPS No. 1589 of 2018.

2. Perused the documents and heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation in light

of judgment rendered in case of State of Punjab and Another Vs. Jagjit

Singh within 4 weeks from today and the same shall be considered and

decided for equal pay for equal work without being influenced by

Annexure P-1 within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of the

representation.

4. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off.
