             counsel for the Respondent.

During the course of arguments, it would be appropriate to obtain the affidavit of both the parties in the light of the judgment passed by the Supreme Court in the matter of Rajnesh v. Neha and Another reported in A.I.R. 2021 S.C.C. 569, so as to consider the permanent alimony as required under Section 25 of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, in case the decree for dissolution of marriage is passed.

Accordingly, both the parties are directed to furnish affidavit in the light of the aforesaid decision rendered in the matter of Rajnesh v. Neha and Another (supra) within 2 weeks.
