Heard.
1. It is found that though Ranjit Singh @ Munna filed Criminal Appeal No.645
of 2021 along with Rakesh Singh @ Dheeraj and Chhotu @ Bihari against
the impugned judgment of conviction and order of sentence, later on,
another appeal on behalf of appellant- Ranjit Singh @ Munna has been filed
which is registered as CRA No.667 of 2021 by Shri Kalyan Kalamkar,
Advocate.
2. Considering that Ranjit Singh @ Munna already filed CRA No.645 of 2021,
subsequent appeal CRA 667 of 2021 cannot be entertained and the same
is, therefore, dismissed. The appeal of Ranjit Singh @ Munna will be heard
along with other appellants- Rakesh Singh @ Dheeraj and Chhotu @ Bihari
in CRA No.645 of 2021.
3. Though CRA No.645 of 2021 has been filed assailing legality and validity of
judgment of conviction and order of sentence, no suspension application
has been filed. In other connected appeal of Laxman Singh @ Chek in CRA
No.487 of 2021, notice has already been issued to the State on suspension
application.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the appellant in CRA No.645 of 2021 is
granted two weeks time to file suspension application through legal aid.
5. The Registry is directed to prepare additional paper book for being supplied
to Shri Anupam Dubey, learned counsel appearing for appellants in CRA
No.645 of 2021, within two weeks.
6. CRA No. 487 of 2021 and CRA No.645 of 2021 be listed for consideration
of suspension applications after two weeks. State may file reply to
suspension application.
