It is ascertained from the Department that the LCR along with

the judgment of acquittal in the appeal has been sent down to the

Trial Court. It is directed to the Department that in all appeals

henceforth, after the acquittal order is passed a copy of the judgment

or extract of the operating part of the judgment of acquittal shall

forthwith be sent to the concerned correctional home or jail where

the appellant is lodged.

This being a judicial order shall be followed with utmost

sincerity and diligence and any irresponsibility on part of any of the

official concern shall be viewed seriously.

In the present case, the appellant being lodged in Suri, District

Correctional Home, Birbhum, an extract of the operating portion of

the judgment passed in the criminal appeal be sent to the

Superintendent of the Correctional Home in course of the day by any

expeditious mode of transmission.

Let a copy of this order be forwarded to Learned Registrar

Administration (L & OM) for needful action at his end in future.
