              1.      This being a statutory appeal and since the appellant is in

                      jail, the delay in preferring the appeal is condoned.

              2.      Accordingly, the interim application being CRAN 1 of 2023 is

                      disposed of.

                                     In re: CRA (DB) 297 of 2023

              1.      Heard.

              2.      Admit.

              3.      Issue usual notice to the private respondent. Requisites along

with stamp shall be filed by the appellant within 10 days from

the date of reopening of the Court after winter vacation.

4. Department is directed to call for the L.C.R. expeditiously.

5. Department is directed to prepare the paper book after receipt

of L.C.R.

6. Learned Counsel for the appellant is directed to serve a copy

of the appeal memo along with impugned judgments to the

Office of the learned Public Prosecutor, High Court at

Calcutta in the meantime.
