The Court: Liberty is granted to the decree-holder to file a supplementary
affidavit and serve a copy thereof on the Advocates appearing for the judgment-
debtors.
A preliminary objection is raised by the judgment-debtors (which had not
been raised at an earlier stage) in respect of the Report of the Special Referee
pertaining to mesne profits claimed by the decree-holder.
Liberty is also granted to the decree-holder to take appropriate steps
pursuant to the Report of the Special Referee in accordance with law, if so
advised.
In the meantime, the judgment-debtors continue to enjoy a valuable property
situated at prime Kolkata measuring approximately 14 cottahs of land without
paying a single penny as rent or occupational charges.
At the instance of the parties, let this matter appear for further hearing on 6
September, 2023.
